Arimidex (Anastrozole) MAY BE TAKEN on an empty stomach or with food. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF Arimidex (Anastrozole), take Arimidex (Anastrozole) as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose of Arimidex (Anastrozole), skip the missed dose of Arimidex (Anastrozole) and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses of Arimidex (Anastrozole) at once.

Arimidex side effects that may go away during treatment, include weakness, nausea, headache, hot flashes, pain, vomiting, cough, or diarrhea. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience side effects like a sore throat or fever or other side effects not listed. USE A NON-HORMONAL METHOD OF BIRTH CONTROL if you are a woman capable of becoming pregnant. Arimidex side effects have been known TO CAUSE HARM to the human fetus.
