PRESCRIPTION REQUIRED FOR LUSTRA (HYDROQUINONE) LUSTRA (HYDROQUINONE) Cream or LUSTRA AF (HYDROQUINONE)Cream is a skin bleaching agent used to temporarily lighten dark-colored patches of skin (also called melasma, liver spots, age spots, freckles) caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or injury to the skin. LUSTRA (HYDROQUINONE) Cream or LUSTRA AF (HYDROQUINONE) Cream also contains sunscreens to help prevent dark spots from re-occurring due to sunlight or ultraviolet light exposure. LUSTRA (HYDROQUINONE) works by blocking the chemical process (enzymes) in the skin that leads to discoloration.

Lustra Cream Side Effects
Lustra side effects or Lustra AF side effects, that may go away during LUSTRA treatment, include minor skin redness or a mild burning sensation. If Lustra side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. STOP USING LUSTRA AND CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IF you experience Lustra side effects like itching, blisters, swelling, or blue-black skin color. IF YOU EXPERIENCE Lustra side effects like difficulty in breathing; dizziness; tightness of chest; swelling of eyelids, face, or lips; or if you develop Lustra side effects like a rash or hives, tell your doctor immediately.
