Lipitor is well known drug for lowering cholesterol levels in the blood. Patients with family history of early coronary heart disease are also a good candidate for Lipitor. It comes in the form of tablet with strength 10, 20, 40, 80 mg. Before prescribing Lipitor, You must inform your doctor if you have diabetes, thyroid problem, have kidney problem, muscle aches or weakness, drink more than 2 glasses of alcohol daily. Lipitor  use along with other medications may cause serious side effects.
